Custom functions are apart of expression library's toolkit. It allows you to add extra functionality to an expression. You can add master layers and add effect controllers to both the layer and the master.

Formatting Custom Functions

Custom functions need formatting to be able to be read by the script. You can instantly apply the formatting by using the expression functions button. Alternatively you can write them by hand.

Each custom functions needs to be written carefully. If one of the functions is not written correctly you will get an error message with the function causing the problem.
